The Battle System is the competitive core of Memed.fun. It transforms meme tokens, engagement, and Warrior NFTs into a high-stakes on-chain game where reputation, Heat, and rewards are constantly on the line.
Battles decide who rises and who gets burned.

Battles serve three major functions:
1. Drive Massive Engagement
Heat spikes during battles, accelerating the ecosystem.
2. Redistribute Power
Winning tokens gain:
Higher Heat
Extra engagement rewards
On-chain prestige
Losing tokens suffer:
Heat penalties
Reduced rewards
NFT loss risk
3. Fuel Deflation
Lost battles burn NFTs → burning rewards → reducing circulating token supply.
⚙️ 2. Battle Flow Overview
The battle lifecycle:
Challenge Initiated A Warrior NFT owner challenges another token.
Opponent Accepts Both sides lock their Warrior NFTs.
Battle Window Opens Heat is tracked across all platforms (Lens, X, IG, YouTube, TikTok).
Resolution Battle results are determined:
60% Heat dominance
40% token support (staked value)
Rewards & Penalties Applied Winners gain bonuses; losers risk burns.
🎯 3. Challenge Rules
Who can challenge?
Must own at least one Warrior NFT
Must have the NFT not locked in an ongoing battle
Who challenges whom?
You may challenge any token that:
Completed fair launch
Is not currently in a battle
Has at least one NFT supporting it
Battle Cooldown
A token cannot enter more than one battle at a time
NFTs have a short cooldown after the battle ends

1. +100 Token Reward Bonus
Winner’s NFT gets an extra +100 tokens in its engagement reward balance.
2. Engagement Pool Payout
5% of the Engagement Rewards allocation for the cycle is:
Swapped → into the winner’s token
Sent to the winning token’s reward pool
3. Heat Boost
Winner gets a significant Heat boost recorded on-chain.
4. Reputation & Performance Tracking
The NFT and the token get:
Battle wins recorded
Higher perceived value
Better narrative for future battles

Losing is painful — intentionally.
1. −100 Token Engagement Penalty
Loser’s NFT loses 100 tokens from its engagement reward balance.
2. NFT Burn (High-Stakes Mechanic)
If engagement reward balance = 0, the NFT is:

3. Heat Increase Requirement
After losing:
Required Heat for next reward milestone increases by 20%
